About Toronto CFA Society
Toronto CFA Society is a not-for-profit organization supporting professional development and advancement of CFA® charterholders. The society provides member services including educational programmes, sponsored events, job placements and networking opportunities. It also acts as a forum for information exchange amongst investment decision makers who serve institutional, corporate and individual client groups.

Our members are investment industry practitioners. Typical roles occupied include portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, marketing/sales people in both institutional and retail areas.

In May 2005 our name changed to Toronto CFA Society to reflect the new global branding standards of CFA Institute. Up until that time we were known as the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.

With over 7,300 members, Toronto CFA Society is the 2nd largest of its kind in the world.

What is the Media Contact Directory?
The Media Contact Directory is a comprehensive guide of our members that gives you direct access to investment industry experts within the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

The directory consists of members who have had their CFA charter for more than five years and have areas of expertise that they are willing to share by accepting phone calls or taking part in media interviews. There are over 25 investment-related areas showcased in the directory.

Please note that members are speaking on behalf of their areas of expertise and/or their company. If you would like to speak with someone representing Toronto CFA Society, please contact Sara Maginn Pacella at spacella @ torontocfa.ca.

The directory is released in print format on an annual basis and is updated quarterly on the Toronto CFA Society website.

How do I use the Media Contact Directory?
The directory is divided into areas of expertise as well as alphabetically by last name for ease of use. If you are looking for someone who has knowledge in a specific area you can use the Table of Contents. We also have included a section for members who have expressed interest in writing articles.

Many of our members have multiple designations/degrees. We have provided a glossary for easy reference.

Terms of use
The Media Contact Directory is a list of members who have areas of expertise that they are willing to share by accepting phone calls or taking part in media interviews. Use of the directory for other purposes such as mass communications is strictly prohibited. Individuals are also not permitted to harvest, collect, download, create lists, sell or otherwise distribute member contact information. By using the directory, you are agreeing to these terms.
